Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the on-site team in overseeing daily financial and operational tasks of a rental community. You will handle rent collections, post transactions, and assist with reporting while using leading property management software.

You will coordinate with maintenance and leasing staff, enforce lease terms, and respond to resident inquiries to maintain occupancy and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial transactions and tasks for the community, including rent collection, deposits, and financial reports.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and ensures data integrity.
• Reviewing resident files to identify unpaid fees and communicate with residents about balances.
• Process invoices and payments, coding charges to the Chart of Accounts and coordinating with vendors and the owner.
