Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a project manager who will lead projects from award through closeout, spending significant time on job sites to work with crews and solve problems in real time. The role emphasizes field engagement, safety, schedule, and budget while maintaining client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will oversee the project management team, participate in site visits, proposal and contract development, and coordinate with the project sales representative from development through

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience.
PMP is preferred.
Experience in heavy construction or industrial project flow is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from award through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and client satisfaction.
Work hands-on on job sites with crews to solve problems in real time.
Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors and others throughout design and planning.
Develop and maintain an overall project schedule and identify critical path items.
Regularly communicate project status including schedule, financials, risk and quality.
