Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Project Manager to oversee customer projects from award through execution, focusing on safety, schedule, profit, and satisfaction. You will collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain a master schedule, highlight critical path items, and anticipate issues.

The role requires coordinating with field leadership and traveling as needed to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, knowledge of engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience.
• Must have enough experience to meet essential duties.
• Knowledge of engineering plans and specifications.
• Mechanical inclination with basic machinery understanding.
• Basic math and geometry skills.
• Proven planning and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of construction contracts and time mgmt.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and improve project mgmt team efficiency.
• Participate in site visits, proposal and contract development.
• Transition projects from sales to development to execution.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors and teams.
• Develop and maintain the overall project schedule and critical path.
• Communicate project status including schedule, budget and risk.
• Coordinate crews and equipment scheduling.
• Willingness to travel and work with field leadership.
