Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from award to closeout. This hands-on, field-driven role requires spending significant time on job sites, solving problems in real time, and staying close to the work with crews.

You will oversee PM team efficiency, participate in site visits, and manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with customers, engineers, and suppliers. Travel to sites will be necessary to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience.
• Experience managing field-based projects and teams.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and improvement of project management efficiency.
• Participate in customer site visits, proposal and contract development/reviews.
• Lead projects from sales through execution with clear communication of scope, schedule and budget.
• Interact with customers, engineers, vendors and crews throughout design and planning phases.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedule, flag critical paths, and mitigate risks.
• Communicate project status including schedule, budget, risk, quality and safety.
• Coordinate work crews and scheduling of equipment.
• Willingness to travel and manage field leadership.
