Job summary

Barnhart is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee field operations on complex construction and industrial projects. You will coordinate labor, equipment, materials, logistics, scheduling, and client communications while guiding site teams under the Director of Operations.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to contract requirements. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, project coordination and customer relationship skills, with experience in project management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate labor, equipment and materials with the Director of Operations and Project Manager.
• Schedule and manage site activities in a fast-paced field office.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and invoicing through execution.
• Direct and manage the site team including Construction, Safety, Logistics and QA managers.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain regular project status communications with leadership and client.
