On-Site Project Leader: Power & Thermal Systems

Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Site Leader to provide world class jobsite leadership for large, long-duration power and/or thermal equipment projects. You will be the on-site technical representative from start-up through acceptance testing and project completion.

You will work with the Project Manager to drive cost controls, schedule adherence, and resource management, delivering a positive customer experience on site in El Paso, Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience leading start-up and commissioning of power and HVAC equipment.
• Military experience in related field preferred.
• Industrial construction management experience required (min 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team including Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, and subcontractors.
• Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate on-site activities.
• Lead start-up and site testing activities with adequate manpower.
• Provide daily status reports to Service Management and Project Management.
