Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Site Leader in Austin, TX to drive on-site leadership for large, long-duration projects involving Vertiv power and thermal equipment. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage safety, and liaise with customers to ensure a positive experience from start-up through project completion.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge of data-center infrastructure, and collaboration with project managers to control costs, schedules and resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading on-site in large-scale projects.
• Experience with data-center infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team of professionals and subcontractors.
• Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate on-site activities.
• Lead start-up and site testing activities; ensure adequate manpower daily.
• Maintain safety through toolbox talks and adherence to safety policies.
• Provide timely reporting to management, PMs, and sales.
