Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Site Leader to provide world-class jobsite leadership for large, long-duration projects involving power and/or thermal equipment. You will act as the on-site Vertiv technical representative from construction through commissioning and project closeout.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager, drive safety adherence, cost controls, and schedule compliance while ensuring excellent customer experience and strong rapport with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience leading start-up and commissioning of power and/or hvac equipment.
• Minimum 2 years industrial construction management.
• Six years military experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team including project leaders and technicians.
• Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate on-site activities.
• Lead start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects.
• Ensure sufficient manpower on-site each day for start-up and testing.
