Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Site Leader to provide world-class site leadership for large, long‑duration projects in power and/or thermal equipment. The Site Leader serves as Vertiv’s on‑site technical representative from construction start through start‑up, site acceptance testing, and project completion.

You will work with the Project Manager to drive cost controls, schedule adherence, and resource management while maintaining excellent rapport with customers and co‑workers to ensure a positive customer

Qualifications

• ASEET or ASMET preferred.
• Experience leading start-up and commissioning of power and/or hvac equipment.
• Six years’ military experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial construction management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read electrical one-line diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team including Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, Customer Engineers and subcontractors.
• Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and coordinate activity on-site.
• Lead start-up and site testing activities and ensure adequate manpower.
• Provide daily status reports to Service Management, Project Management and sales.
