Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Project HR Advisor to monitor manpower needs on a Texas site, coordinating with project management and supervision on HR matters. The role centers on manpower requisitions, onboarding, compliance, and site HR support, with potential per diem based on project location.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of industry HR experience on-site, strong interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of labor laws.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial construction/oil & gas HR advisory on-site
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of employment/labor law and confidentiality
• SHRM/PHR designation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure manpower requisitions are completed properly by supervisors
• Provide resumes to review/approve
• Complete pre-access requirements for hires (drug screening, background checks, etc.)
• Coordinate with departments to mobilize candidates to site
• Support recruitment campaigns for niche roles
• Conduct HR-related training for supervision
• Ensure site disciplinary policies are followed
• Guide on policies and procedures for project management
• Process terminations, rate changes, promotions, and other updates
• Maintain compliance with trade certifications and documentation
• Assist in general site admin tasks
• Other duties as required by management
