Job summary

APM Terminals Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Document Control Lead to establish and continuously improve document and records governance for a major program upgrading, expanding, and modernizing a key container terminal in New Jersey. You will be the project authority for controlled information across design, procurement, construction, and handover.

You will lead administration of electronic document management in SharePoint, Oracle Aconex, and other approved tools.

Qualifications

Five+ years of progressive document control and information management on large capital projects.
Lead capacity with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, information or records management, business administration, project management, or related field.
Strong knowledge of document numbering, metadata, revision control, and audit trails.

Responsibilities

Establish the Project Document Management Plan, procedures, metadata standards, numbering conventions, review matrices, retention and closeout controls.
Govern SharePoint, Oracle Aconex and other approved electronic document-management and CDE solutions.
Control the information lifecycle from registration to disposal and support project turnover.
Coordinate interfaces among owner, designers, contractors, suppliers, and operations.
Drive data quality through audits, reconciliations, and dashboards.
