Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Manager in Texas to lead the assigned manufacturing area, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and supervise production supervisors. You will manage schedules, line balancing, scrap/rework control, and KPI performance to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with several years of production supervision experience in manufacturing and experience applying Lean, 5S and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of six years of experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing, or an Associate degree with eight years of experience.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing, 5S and Six Sigma.

Responsabilités

• Direct production supervisors in the plant and coordinate production work with awareness of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Train and develop production supervisors and evaluate progress.
• Analyze staffing requirements and coordinate with departments to solve production problems.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety training on the plant floor.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean events.
• Drive KPI performance and manage overtime in the area.
