Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Customer Service Representative to support procurement, purchasing and order tracking at an on-site location within our storeroom operations. The role includes creating purchase orders, tracking orders, procurement requests, and following through on orders until delivered.

Will receive orders in system once delivered and assist with invoice reconciliation. SAP/ERP experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities to ensure customer demand for products and materials is met.
• Review and approve inventory forecasts from ERP systems.
• Review and approve daily replenishment recommendations.
• Assess orders to determine action for expediting or de-expediting for delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Coordinate vendor returns for aging or excess inventory; communicate status to customers.
