Job summary

Vallen is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at a customer location and provide exceptional service by purchasing products and materials that meet our standards of price, quality, and reliability of supply.

Essential duties include procurement activities, placing purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining relationships with vendors to drive cost savings while adhering to SOPs and workplace standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods to meet customer demand per purchasing strategies.
• Place requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Monitor vendor delivery timeliness and product quality.
• Communicate order status to customers and resolve issues.
• Maintain supplier relationships and identify cost savings.
• Follow all SOPs and keep worksite professional.
