Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to own the full scope of preconstruction for mega-scale data center campuses. The role spans civil/structural/architectural and sitework, MEP and power systems, from concept through NTP, with end-to-end ownership for the assigned campus.

You will collaborate closely with in-house design, real estate, Supply Chain, commissioning, utility, and construction teams to ensure budgets, schedules, and procurement align for successful

Qualifications

• 10+ years of preconstruction, estimating, or delivery experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience across CSA and MEP/power scopes; owner/operator or developer background preferred; strong GC preconstruction background is valued.
• Procore (or equivalent) estimating tools knowledge; proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design Management & Constructability: oversee owner’s preconstruction with A/E and engineering teams across civil/structural/architectural, MEP, and power.
• Estimating & Budget Development: own conceptual through control-level estimates and maintain campus budget.
• Procurement Strategy, Long-Lead & Buyout: develop procurement roadmap for long-lead equipment and lead bid processes.
• Utility, Entitlements, Risk & Handoff: coordinate with utility/interconnection consultants; manage permitting and entitlements; identify risks early.
