Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for mega-scale data centers. You will guide cross-functional teams and ensure high-performance, energy-efficient solutions across multiple sites.

The role requires deep expertise in central utility plants, chilled water, HVAC, and fire protection, with a focus on reliability, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage mechanical design teams for large-scale data centers.
• Deep expertise in data center mechanical systems including central plants, chilled water, and room cooling.
• Ability to deliver capacity projects across multiple sites with reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal and external data center design engineering teams.
• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale data centers, including HVAC, cooling, chiller plants, rack-based cooling, and fire protection systems
• Provide mechanical design oversight from concept to commissioning.
• Develop innovative cooling solutions to reduce water/energy use and costs.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and multi-site project delivery across regions.
• Collaborate with electrical, structural, controls, and operations teams to integrate systems.
