The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees project execution, financial performance, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project financials, forecasting, change orders, cost control, and risk management.
- Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and implement recovery plans to maintain schedule milestones.
- Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
- Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers while supporting team development.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction project management experience, ideally within data centers, mission critical, industrial, or large commercial projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, contract administration, and project controls.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Build, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, CMiC, or Microsoft Project.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Willingness to travel or relocate based on project requirements
