Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead high‑scale data center builds as the owner’s representative.

You will collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to deliver energy‑efficient facilities and drive cost, schedule, and quality on site. Daily on-site activity includes interfacing with general contractors, managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders while mentoring cross-functional teams and reporting progress to

Qualifications

• Experience constructing electrical engineering systems including large scale power distribution and mechanical systems (MEP).
• Experience in construction management or program management of large, complex projects.
• Experience in data center delivery or equivalent industrial/facility builds.

Responsibilities

• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution and closeout phases.
• Create construction scope and RFIs; evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Manage documents including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control.
• Record and report key construction metrics to the team.
