Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to own coordination, readiness, and closure for assigned scopes on mega-scale data center projects.

You will work with Construction Managers to drive issues to resolution, track owner decisions, and maintain clear visibility for leadership on risks and progress. The role emphasizes mentoring Project Engineers, improving controls and coordination workflows, and ensuring on-site execution for fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments in Sparks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent practical owner-side experience.
• 4+ years of construction, project engineering, or project controls experience; owner/operator experience preferred.
• Procore and MS Office proficiency; familiar with construction scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own coordination, readiness, and action closure for assigned scopes across data center projects.
• Maintain owner decision, clarification, and commitment tracking; identify stalled items and highlight business impact.
• Manage workflows and visibility to ensure timely owner decisions; clear bottlenecks.
• Lead recurring reporting for assigned responsibilities with status, trends, and open risks; mentor Project Engineers.
