Job summary

Affinity Eye Care is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the on-site team, ensuring patient-centric care and high-performing operations. You will collaborate with the Optometrist, drive service standards, and guide staff through daily priorities and performance goals.

Must have 3+ years in leadership within healthcare or related service environments. Responsibilities include coaching, training, and optimizing patient flow while balancing business targets and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, service execution, and operational consistency.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, aligning team to patient needs and performance goals.
• Establish clear expectations for staff and communicate daily priorities and standards.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow and evolving service offerings.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and patient care standards.
• Support new hire development, ongoing training, and adoption of systems and AI-enabled tools.
• Reinforce exceptional patient service behaviors and monitor feedback and trends.
• Review performance data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with District Manager on sales, profitability, and practice growth.
