Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Practice Manager to lead daily operations, patient flow, and staff performance on-site. You will coach the team, ensure service standards, and align with provider needs to deliver excellent patient care and business results.

As the primary on-site leader, you will collaborate with the Optometrist, manage priorities, and drive practice growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or comparable service environment.
• State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Business, hospitality, healthcare, optical, or management education preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.
• Ability to analyze reports, trends, and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, and service execution.
• Serve as primary on-site floor leader, ensuring alignment with patient needs and priorities.
• Set clear expectations for staff regarding priorities, roles, and performance goals.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow and evolving services.
• Coach and develop team, recognize achievements, and ensure high standards.
• Support new hire development, training, and system updates.
• Reinforce exceptional patient service behaviors and timely follow-up.
