Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage production lines in Glendale, AZ. This on-site role centers on PLC programming and troubleshooting, collaborating with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

You will program Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix in Studio 5000, troubleshoot PLC/HMI/VFD systems, and lead automation projects while mentoring technicians.

Qualifications

Hands-on PLC programming; write and modify ladder logic themselves.
4+ years in industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
Strong troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, VFD, servo/motion, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for equipment.
Identify recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
