Electrical Automation Services in Avondale, AZ is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer for an on-site, day-shift role at our Glendale facility. The controls expert will troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD and servo systems, lead automation projects, and mentor maintenance staff while collaborating across operations, maintenance and quality teams.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing automation, strong drafting skills, and the ability to drive improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent; 4+ years in industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo and instrumentation issues.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
- Provide mentorship and training to maintenance technicians and operators.
