The role involves direct interaction with clients, patients, and PathGroup staff in a fast-paced setting. You will adhere to safety protocols, assist with inventory, and help maintain documentation.

• Phlebotomy skills and well-organized handling of specimens.
• Strong interpersonal skills to greet and assist customers.
• Attention to detail in labeling, requisitions, and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Greets customers professionally and courteously.
• Collects specimens accurately and on time.
• Explains venipuncture process clearly to patients and reduces anxiety.
• Disposes of biohazards per laws and policies.
• Enters patient and billing information into PathConnect and other systems.
• Matches lab requisition forms to tubes and labels specimens correctly.
• Packages specimens for transport and maintains specimen integrity.
• Maintains daily logs and monthly statistics as needed.
• Performs basic clerical duties and electronic data entry.
