Job summary

The role encompasses implementing new policies, procedures, and services, and serving as IT liaison for tech-based systems, with collaboration across the health network. Reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent leadership experience in pharmacy.
• Leadership or trainer experience in pharmacy is preferred.
• Knowledge of compounding, regulatory standards and medication distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities for pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, retain, and train pharmacy technician personnel.
• Lead quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Serve as pharmacy department IT liaison for operations technology and vendor relations.
• Develop and implement new policies, procedures and services.
• Report to the pharmacy manager.
