Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to coordinate daily pharmacy technician operations at our on-site Froedtert Hospital facility. You will guide technicians and assist pharmacists in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy, with travel between our outpatient pharmacies.

Minimum 3 years as a pharmacy technician; High School diploma required; CPhT or ExCPT certification within 6 months; leadership training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ExCPT is required within 6 months of hire.
• Leadership training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location.
• Serve as a daily resource for technicians and provide guidance on technical and operational information.
• Assist the pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy.
• May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under supervision.
