Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a local People Practices representative to support onboarding, employee lifecycle services, and engagement on a large project site. You’ll serve as the first contact for employees and coaches, guiding them to resources and ensuring policy consistency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR-related field and 2–4 years in HR or related work; on-site presence is required with no remote option. SHRM-CP/PHR preferred and some relocation/travel may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR, operations support, employee engagement, or a related field.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the business partner team to support delivery of employee and candidate lifecycle programs and services.
• Serves as a first point of contact for employees and coaches, guiding on People Practices resources and escalating complex matters.
• Interprets and applies company policies to ensure consistent People Practices support locally.
• Coordinates onboarding processes, including 30/60/90-day check-ins with new employees and coaches.
• Collaborates with COEs and People Operations to execute local People Practices services, including training logistics and orientation.
• Organizes and manages People Practices events and connection points for engagement, inclusion, and culture.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology

SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred
