Job summary

Gemma Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist to manage daily payroll and timekeeping at the Midland/Odessa, TX project site. You will liaise with the home office and champion our timekeeping technology within the project team.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll/timekeeping, experience with mJobTime or similar, and strong knowledge of payroll laws. Travel for training may be involved; overtime/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Payroll/Timekeeping experience.
• Experience using mJobTime or similar timekeeping software is required.
• Experience using ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal payroll laws.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll records and timekeeping data consistent with policy.
• Manage timekeeping hardware/software and ensure data flows across systems.
• Serve as primary site contact for payroll/timekeeping questions.
• Coordinate with Home Office payroll for weekly site payroll and approvals.
• Prepare and review payroll adjustments, PTO, and per diem.
• Sort and distribute payroll checks; process weekly payroll changes.
• Ensure data in timekeeping matches ADP and resolve discrepancies.
• Support union reporting and labor agreement understanding.
• Assist with badge administration and site timekeeping configuration.
