Job summary

Paylocity is an award-winning provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions. The Lead Client Services Ops role centers on guiding a team of Account Managers to deliver outstanding client satisfaction, escalating issues, and driving process improvements.

The position is 100% in-office at Schaumburg, IL, with no remote option. You will oversee 6–10 AMs, coordinate workloads, and mentor staff to meet service levels and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2 years payroll, finance, or spend management with client services or support experience.
• Successful experience in escalations and at risk client retention efforts.
• Project Management experience.
• Proficient in SQL, MS Access or Excel.
• Operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance (quantitative and qualitative).
• Provide ongoing learning opportunities for Account Managers.
• Directly engage with clients on escalated issues.
• Identify and facilitate process improvements across the team.
• Coordinate workload and client assignments to maximize impact.
