On-Site Patient Services Training Specialist

Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Trainer to support the patient service team with training on new processes, onboarding, and quality improvements. You will develop materials, deliver sessions, and mentor staff under the Training Manager.

The role requires travel to offsite locations, strong communication, and adherence to privacy and security policies while maintaining a professional environment for patients and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior job-related experience.
• 1–2 years of prior job-related training experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel and stay at offsite locations in different states for periods of a week or more.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and communication.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Valid Drivers' License with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
• Less than 3 minor moving violation convictions within the previous 3 years.
• Overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient service needs, current practices, and training development.
• Provide implementation of SOPs and communication of information in accordance with company guidelines.
• With direction and guidance from the Training Manager, act as mentor and resource for employees.
• Provide effective onboarding services for strategic accounts, and ensure clients and patient service technicians are well trained on test ordering processes and office protocols.
• Provide training, retraining and assist with the overall quality improvement within the patient service department.
• Assist with work environment transitions, and familiarity with department protocols, practices and procedures.
• Assist with the development of training presentations and programs.
• Communicate appropriately with clients, patients, coworkers and the general public.
• Document and resolve issues and escal to appropriate manager for resolution.
• Communicate all unresolved problems immediately to the Training Manager.
• Submit accurate expense forms, time and travel logs as directed by management; and on time.
• Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
• Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
