Job summary

PathGroup in the United States is seeking a Patient Service Team Leader to oversee daily operations of the Patient Service Centers and In-office Patient Services Technicians. This role travels to client locations on short notice and supports the area supervisor by ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time while maintaining a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy Certification is required.
• 3-5 years of prior job-related experience required.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations within a designated region on short notice.
• Assist with SOP implementation for patient services.
• Act as backup for the Patient Services Supervisor as needed.
• Coordinate work of PSCs and IOPSTs to maintain production and service levels.
• Provide training, coaching, and input on performance evaluations for phlebotomists.
• Perform site visits and assist with QA audits.
• Greet clients politely and ensure courteous service.
• Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Enter patient and test information into PathGroup systems.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly statistics.
