Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Aston, PA clinic. The role focuses on welcoming patients, handling check-in/out, insurance verification, and payments in a professional, HIPAA-compliant environment.

You will manage appointments, coordinate referrals, and maintain accurate EMR records. A 1–2 year healthcare front desk background is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of patient registration or front office experience in a medical setting.
• Experience with insurance rules and medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check-in/check-out, and verify demographics.
• Collect co-pays and payments; balance cash drawer daily.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals/authorizations.
• Verify insurance coverage and EMR documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, organized front office workflow.
