Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operating Engineer for an on-site role in Dallas, TX. You will support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. The schedule is 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site presence required.

The role requires 3+ years of related work experience in repair/maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry. A Universal CFC EPA certification or willingness to obtain it is expected, along with proficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education or union training is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, HVAC and locksmith work.
• Maintain the CMMS work order system daily and respond to tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls and support safety procedures.
