Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Operating Engineer in Nashville, TN. You will maintain and repair building systems, monitor BAS, and ensure safe, reliable facility performance.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-call support, and coordinating with vendors to service tenants and clients. The role requires strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical and plumbing disciplines, a valid driver’s license, and 4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License required.
• 4–6 years in commercial building engineering or facilities maintenance.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Monitor BAS, respond to alarms, troubleshoot and escalate as needed.
• Complete work orders in CMMS with accurate records.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment including chillers, pumps and air handlers.
• Coordinate with vendors and support tenant service requests.
