Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an on-site Employee Onboarding Specialist / Coordinator to manage a high-volume onboarding process for 1099 contract electricians supporting a major industrial facility project.

You will guide candidates through pre-employment compliance, ADP paperwork, drug screening, and identity verification, ensuring they are cleared, badged, and ready to work on day one. This is an on-site role with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Hands-on onboarding/payroll experience using ADP.
• Direct experience with First Advantage for background checks and drug screening.
• Coordination of occupational drug screenings with chain-of-custody processes.
• Background working with blue-collar professionals, skilled trades, or construction personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide step-by-step onboarding support to 1099 contract electricians completing ADP onboarding and compliance tasks.
• Overcommunicate clearly, explaining technical or administrative requirements in an accessible, respectful manner.
• Serve as a visible, on-site contact for all pending hires during pre-employment workflow.
• Oversee and verify pre-employment paperwork, Form I-9, tax withholding documents, and direct deposit details.
• Run and monitor background check results, resolving items quickly.
• Schedule and monitor candidate drug screens.
• Manage chain-of-custody documentation via First Advantage and track results to secure rapid clearance.
• Develop, refine, and maintain an efficient onboarding tracking process for contract workers.
• Track clearance statuses to accelerate badging and site entry.
