Scan Global Logistics is seeking an Ocean Import Specialist in Elizabeth, NJ for direct hire, full-time on-site work. You will oversee end-to-end ocean import operations, manage shipment documentation, coordinate with internal teams and ensure compliance with procedures and industry standards.

The role emphasizes freight forwarding execution, tracking, regulatory compliance, and timely communication with customers and carriers.

Responsabilités

• Enter international ocean import tracking documentation from origin to destination.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met with accurate paperwork including transit docs and customs clearances.
• Process, distribute and discharge documentation to carriers, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner.
• Prepare data entry and confirm key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs) per SOPs.
• Maintain polite, timely and efficient customer service.
• Oversee billing to clients based on agreed pricing and maintain accurate costs and profits.
