Jobot is seeking an Ocean Import Specialist in New Jersey to manage end-to-end ocean import operations for a global freight forwarding client. You will coordinate shipments, prepare import documents, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining precise records and timely communication with carriers and brokers.

Formación

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Shipment delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.
