Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Network/Smart Hands Support Specialist for on-site work in Grand Rapids, MI.

You will support network infrastructure, servers, and data center operations as part of the remote NOC team, performing hands-on tasks and documenting work for SLA adherence. Applicants should have 5+ years IT experience, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for site-to-site travel in the Grand Rapids

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Strong understanding of networking (OSI Layers 2 & 3) and data center operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Smart Hands support for network/server hardware (rack/stack, cabling, hardware swaps).
• Troubleshoot physical connectivity issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain logs and update ticketing systems to meet SLAs.
• Assist with inventory management and site readiness tasks.
