Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst in Grand Haven, Michigan (US-MI), to join the team onsite. The role involves troubleshooting desktops/notebooks/printers, deploying upgrades, and providing technical support with a focus on client service. Travel may be required, and a 3-5 year experience level is expected. An undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.

The position is a temporary W2 contract with compensation ranges discussed by location. French language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Windows operating system.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix may be required.
• Strong client service skills.
• Travel may be required (overnight domestic or international).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot parts replacement, system upgrades, advanced deployment, and repair on desktops/notebooks/printers.
• Use advanced tools/technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations.
• Provide technical feedback on process issues to improve service delivery.
• May act as team lead at times and coach team members.
• Receive general direction from supervisor and work on assigned deliverables.

Description

• They know basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices for their professional field, but usually have limited experience in applying them outside a classroom setting.
• They handle detailed problems which require standard solutions.
• They receive general direction from their supervisor, are assigned deliverables and may be part of a team.
• Performs troubleshooting parts replacement, system upgrades, advanced deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.
• Uses advanced tools /technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations.
• Provides technical feedback on technical process issues to improve overall service delivery.
• May act as team lead at times and coach team members.
• Typically requires 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficient in Windows operating system environment.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems may be required.
• Strong client service skills.
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Some travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required
• Knowledge of the French language is a plus

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is $30 to $40. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
