Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a Service Technician II in Northampton, MA to support daily maintenance, respond to service requests, and prep apartments for new residents.

This in-office role emphasizes trades skills and customer service within a collaborative team. Under the Service Maintenance Manager, you will diagnose repairs across appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, handle on-call duties, maintain inventory, and aid in REAC/HQS activities while following safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or 3 years in property management or hospitality.
• REAC/HQS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies promptly.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and maintain grounds.
• Support REAC/HQS inspections and audits; maintain shop/inventory with PPE.
