Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a hands-on Property Manager for a Multifamily community in Houma, LA. You will lead daily operations, leasing, resident relations, budget oversight, and team development on-site, reporting to the AVP.

The role requires at least 3 years in multifamily property management, proficiency with OneSite/Yardi, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset. Weekend availability may be required for staffing and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property management required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge with state lease documents, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient in property management systems (OneSite/Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing, collections, renewals, resident satisfaction, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and local housing codes.
• Communicate regularly with the AVP regarding property performance, challenges, and strategic needs.
• Recruit, onboard, and train on-site staff including leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams.
• Manage rent collection, postings, deposits, and budgeting adherence.
• Lead leasing activity and marketing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and foster a sense of community.
