Job summary

Neighborly Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to manage property maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and support the Community Manager with inspections and budget tasks. The role requires upkeep of grounds, repairs, and timely service to residents.

Responsibilities include making-ready inspections, vendor coordination, and adherence to Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, with on-site attendance and after-hours on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of maintenance repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA Certification preferred.
• Pool Certification preferred if working at a location with a pool.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete apartment make-ready process including inspections, repairs and vendor scheduling.
• Maintain grounds and amenities to property standards.
• Oversee unit turnovers, grounds clean-up, inspections, and on-site safety checks.
• Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Provide high-quality customer service to residents and manage maintenance communications.
• Assist Community Manager with maintenance reporting and budgeting tasks.
• Coordinate after-hours on-call schedule and weekend availability.
• Prepare annual maintenance budget and order supplies as needed.
• Conduct monthly/biannual/annual inspections including fire safety checks.
