Job summary

Cox Fleet in Cheyenne, WY is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II for the day shift (Wednesday to Saturday). You will perform PMs, inspections, and light repairs on various trucks in a mobile/field setting.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with related field experience (or 5 years), ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and DOT pre-employment screening. Eligible to operate a company service vehicle and work with customers directly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience, or 5 years in related field.
• Ase certification T8 (PMI) to be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers.
• Test and road test vehicles to verify proper operation after service.
• Maintain and inventory parts on company service truck and document work performed.
• Coordinate with management for repair estimates and approvals.
• Follow safety policies and complete pre/post trip inspections.
