Job summary

Cox Fleet in the United States is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to heavy repairs in the field. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage parts and documentation.

You will service our mobile fleet and at times site service centers, with training provided and a clear career path. Weekly pay and company benefits support work‑life balance while you develop advanced mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with related field experience, or 5 years in a related field.
• Own a set of hand tools to perform required duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and related systems.
• Inspect, road test, and document repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck operations; obtain approvals and PO numbers as needed.
• Document findings on Repair Orders using iOS device and TRAIT application.
