Genesis10 is seeking a Customer Service Representative for an on-site, contract-to-hire role in Columbus, OH. The position focuses on assisting callers with questions about mobile devices, troubleshooting, and coordinating with service providers and technicians.

There are multiple openings with various shift options. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, 6+ months of customer service experience, and the ability to pass a security clearance if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months or more experience with Customer Service.
• Basic computer/smartphone skills.
• Experience working with wireless devices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a security clearance, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via telephone, email, or online chat to provide support and information on products or services.
• Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
• Assist callers with any questions regarding their mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot devices and their setup/provisioning, coordinating with service providers and technicians.
• Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forward to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
• Coordinate the efforts of service providers, IT Help Desks, MDM Administrators, and customers to maintain service expectations.
• Act as an intermediary to prevent "up-selling" by service providers.
• Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer's problems and concerns.
• Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Perform data entry, administrative support, and clerical duties.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
