Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team and help restore vacant homes to market-ready condition for residents.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, plumbing and appliance repairs, completing paperwork, snow removal as needed, and coordinating with the supervisor. We offer training, competitive pay starting at $20.33 per hour and a solid benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred but training may be provided.
• HVAC certification or experience is preferred but training may be provided.
• Must possess own tools and maintain a professional appearance per dress code.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with learning software and apps.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn processes on schedule, including drywall, painting, caulking, and grouting.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, disposals, entry locks, windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
