Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team and ensure vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status for move-ins.

You will handle drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and other maintenance tasks, repair appliances and fixtures, and assist with snow and ice removal. Training and growth opportunities are available as you contribute to a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred but training may be provided.
• HVAC certification or experience preferred but training available.
• Possess own tools.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code policy.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn software, apps, and programs.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Restores vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Completes full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
• Repairs or replaces appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
• Completes administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assists with snow and ice removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
