Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC seeks a Make Ready Maintenance Technician Standby to support on-site operations and ensure vacant apartments are turn-ready. The role requires living on-site in a company-provided apartment to respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.

You will complete work orders following policy and procedures. The position covers drywall, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, and tile work with possible snow/ice duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance is preferred (drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, HVAC).
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents and team members.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software and apps.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartments to market-ready status and meet move-in deadlines.
• Perform full vacant turnover including drywall, painting, caulking, and grouting.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, windows, locks, and perform carpentry/tile work as needed.
• Complete administrative paperwork and assist with snow/ice removal as required.
