Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team. You will restore vacant homes to market-ready condition, complete turn-overs on schedule, and perform basic repairs to keep apartments ready for new residents.

Ideal candidates will have experience in building maintenance, own tools, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and HVAC certification or experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance preferred but training may be provided.
• HVAC certification or relevant experience preferred.
• Possess own tools and basic computer skills.
• Maintain professional appearance and effective communication with residents and co-workers.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn process on time to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting.
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows and perform carpentry/ceramic tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
