Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team in Peoria, IL. You will ensure vacant homes are restored to market-ready status and manage timely turnover to meet move-in deadlines.

The role requires experience across drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair and HVAC; HVAC certification or experience is preferred but training may be provided. Tools ownership and a professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair and HVAC is preferred.
HVAC certification or experience preferred but training may be provided.
Must possess own tools and maintain professional appearance.
Strong communication with residents and team, basic computer skills and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines (drywall, painting, caulking, grouting).
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, disposals, locks, windows; perform carpentry and tile work.
Complete administrative paperwork as needed.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
